In this book (first published in 1962), John Bunyan, in an accessible form, but with proper argumentation, examines the most important question of the Gospel and the entire Bible, the most important question of the Christian religion in general - the question of salvation. However, the author briefly considers such topics as a person’s initial appeal to God, repentance, and being born again. The main subject discussed in this book is the achievement by the saints of the final goal of salvation, that is, their preservation and achievement of the Kingdom of Heaven through the intercessory, intercessory ministry of Jesus Christ.
