When Red Room Press announced the competition for the HARD THINGS anthology, we said we were ready to ramp up the tension with hardcore stories that plumb new depths of horror. But we weren't as ready as we thought for the extreme things that came in waves of blood and other body fluids that we won’t mention here. Not that we're complaining. Вражаюча антологія для справжніх поціновувачів жахів!

Книга "Жорсткі речі" від "Red Room Press" вразила мене своєю сміливістю та безкомпромісністю. Це не просто збірка історій, а справжня подорож у темряву людської душі, де кожен автор вносить свою унікальну перспективу на жахи, які можуть статися в нашому житті. Я був вражений глибиною та інтенсивністю деяких оповідань, які змусили мене задуматися над темами страху, насильства та людської природи. Незважаючи на те, що деякі моменти були дійсно екстремальними і навіть шокуючими, це лише підкреслює, наскільки важливою є ця антологія для жанру. Щодо перекладу, він в цілому якісний, хоча іноді зустрічаються незначні недоліки. Проте, це не заважає насолоджуватися читанням. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто готовий до справжніх емоційних викликів і любить занурюватися у світ жаху!
