NECESSARY INTRODUCTORY EXPLANATION FROM THE TRANSLATORS: this non-standard, slightly outlandish micro-story is a typical example of fanzine literature. Being still a young man at the time of its creation, GK undoubtedly loved to fool around in the company of his fellow professional writing colleagues. This story was published only once in a specialized magazine; and since it is written about fandom and for fandom, the elements of parody, surrealism and outright literary hooliganism prevail over everything else. By the way, the text contains absolutely nothing about the goldfish that appears in the title... (ha ha ha!)
