Evgeny Schwartz is a famous Soviet writer, author of the cult plays “The Naked King”, “The Snow Queen”, “Shadow”, “Dragon”, “An Ordinary Miracle”. The diaries are a special part of Schwartz’s creative heritage. The writer led them almost from the very beginning of literary activity. Memories of childhood, youth, the creation of a new theater, the days of the siege of Leningrad and the years of evacuation. Неперевершене занурення в епоху!

Книга "Мінливості долі" – це справжня знахідка для всіх, хто цікавиться історією радянської літератури та життям видатних особистостей. Щоденники Євгена Шварца відкривають перед читачем не лише його особисті переживання, але й унікальний погляд на епоху, в якій він жив. Спогади про дитинство, блокаду Ленінграда та роки евакуації наповнені емоціями, які вражають до глибини душі. Особливо цікаво читати про портрети сучасників, адже Шварц зумів передати їхні характери з такою делікатністю та іронією, що вони постають перед нами живими та реальними. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має свої недоліки, це не зменшує загальної цінності книги. "Мінливості долі" – це не просто спогади, а справжня літературна подорож у часі, яка залишає глибокий слід у серці читача. Обов'язково рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче зрозуміти не лише творчість Шварца, а й дух цілого покоління!
