Вражаюча подорож в історію Візантії!

Книга "Новий Рим на Босфорі" - це справжнє відкриття для всіх, хто цікавиться історією християнства та Візантійської імперії. Автор майстерно переплітає факти з історії царювання візантійських імператорів IV-V століть, надаючи читачеві можливість зануритися в епоху, коли християнство тільки починало формуватися як потужна сила в політичному та соціальному житті. Яскраві описи подій, що відбувалися під час Вселенських Соборів, а також детальні характеристики імператорів та їхніх дій роблять цю книгу не лише пізнавальною, але й надзвичайно цікавою. Додатки з довідковим матеріалом про політико-правовий статус імператорів та організацію римської армії додають цінності виданню, роблячи його корисним не лише для істориків, але й для всіх, хто хоче зрозуміти, як формувалася наша сучасна цивілізація. Єдиним недоліком є деякі неточності в перекладі, але це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про цю захоплюючу епоху!
