Автор, лауреат премії Nebula, майстерно поєднує елементи міжгалактичних подорожей, наукових відкриттів та етики, що стосується ядерної загрози. Історія Аллена Мейснера, члена INSANE, який намагається розробити гіпердвигун для порятунку людства, вражає своєю актуальністю та глибиною. Книга сповнена динамічних подій, захоплюючих персонажів і несподіваних поворотів сюжету, які тримають читача в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить наукову фантастику та шукає нові враження!
