Відкриття нового погляду на класичну літературу

Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Максим Горький, якого я вважав лише класиком соціалістичного реалізму, постає перед читачем в абсолютно новому світлі. Автор пропонує поглянути на творчість Горького не через призму нав'язаних стереотипів, а через призму особистості письменника, його гуманності та страждань. Читання "Стара Ізергіль, Макар Чудра та інші..." стало для мене не лише літературною подорожжю, а й можливістю заглибитися у внутрішній світ автора. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною думок і емоцій, які передає Горький. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто прагне зрозуміти не лише творчість, а й особистість великого письменника!
