The anthology “The Golden Grove Dissuaded...” includes selected poems by poets of the New Peasant School - one of the most interesting poetic movements of the Silver Age. The works of Sergei Yesenin and his like-minded people and contemporaries reflect both the aspirations of the then “people's intelligentsia” and sadness for the passing of Rus'. The book includes not only poems included in school and university literature study programs, but also little-known texts presented to a wider audience for the first time. A carefully compiled anthology provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Nikolai Klyuev, Sergei Klychkov, Pyotr Oreshin and other prominent representatives of the new peasant poetry movement.

Чарівний світ новоселянської поезії

Антологія «Відмовив гай золотий…» стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Вірші, що увійшли до цієї книги, відображають глибокі переживання та сподівання поетів Срібного віку, які вміло передають атмосферу того часу. Твори Сергія Єсеніна, Миколи Клюєва та інших авторів вражають своєю емоційністю та глибиною думки. Я особливо ціную, що в антології представлені не лише відомі вірші, а й маловідомі тексти, які відкривають нові грані творчості цих поетів. Переклад, хоч і має деякі недоліки, все ж дозволяє відчути красу оригіналу. Ця книга стала для мене не лише джерелом натхнення, а й можливістю глибше зрозуміти культурний контекст і емоційний стан тогочасної інтелігенції. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться поезією та історією літератури!
