Вражаюче дослідження світу паразитів

Ця книга відкриває очі на незвичайну, але надзвичайно важливу роль паразитів у природі. Автор глибоко занурюється у тему, розкриваючи, як ці істоти можуть бути не лише шкідниками, але й рушійною силою еволюції. Я вражений тим, як детально описується вплив паразитів на імунну систему та сексуальну поведінку тварин, а також їхній симбіоз з господарями. Книга спонукає задуматися про те, як ми сприймаємо паразитів і чому іноді їхнє існування може бути корисним для екосистеми. Незважаючи на те, що переклад тексту місцями має недоліки, загальна якість викладу та глибина дослідження компенсують ці недоліки. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться природою, еволюцією та екологією
