Сначала приходит брак

Эта книга стала для меня настоящим открытием в жанре романтической литературы. Сюжет закручивается вокруг виконта Эллиота Уоллеса, который приезжает в маленькую деревню, полную сплетен и ожиданий. Автор мастерски передает атмосферу предвкушения, связанного с балом ко Дню святого Валентина. Персонажи прописаны очень живо: каждая из сестер Хакстейбл обладает уникальным характером, что добавляет интригу в развитие сюжета. Особенно понравилась динамика между Эллиотом и сестрами, которая вызывает множество эмоций. Однако, несмотря на все плюсы, некоторые моменты показались предсказуемыми, и концовка не удивила. Тем не менее, книга оставила приятное послевкусие и желание узнать, как будут развиваться события дальше. Рекомендую всем любителям романтики и исторических сюжетов.
