This book was written by Andrei Andreevich Bolibrukh, an outstanding mathematician, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the State Prize and the country's highest mathematical award - the Prize named after. A. M. Lyapunova. The book contains memories of his years of study at the Leningrad Physics and Mathematics Boarding School and Moscow University, as well as poems written in his youth. Bolibrukh died on November 11, 2003 in a Paris hospital at the age of 53, and it is still hard to believe.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
