Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Збірка нарисів про маловідомі, але неймовірно захоплюючі події кримінальної історії США XIX-XX століть вражає своєю глибиною та деталізацією. Автори майстерно передають атмосферу часу, що дозволяє читачеві не лише дізнатися про серійних вбивць, таких як Маджет-Холмс та ZODIAC, але й відчути соціальні та правові контексти, в яких ці події відбувалися. Кожен нарис наповнений драматизмом і напругою, що робить читання захоплюючим. Хоча я помітила деякі недоліки в перекладі, вони не зменшили загального враження від книги. Рекомендую цю збірку всім, хто цікавиться кримінальною психологією, історією та соціальними змінами в Америці. Це не просто книга, це справжня хроніка, що відкриває завісу над темними сторінками минулого!
