Эта книга представляет собой удивительное путешествие в мир баллады — жанра, который на протяжении веков вдохновлял многих великих поэтов и писателей. В ней собраны лучшие произведения таких мастеров, как Гете, Шиллер, Вальтер Скотт и Байрон, и все они представлены в переводах русских поэтов. Чтение баллад позволяет не только насладиться поэтическим языком, но и погрузиться в фольклорные традиции, которые легли в основу этих произведений. Каждый стих, каждая строчка наполнены глубиной и эмоциями, что делает их актуальными и в наше время. Однако стоит отметить, что не все переводы одинаково удачны, и некоторые могут показаться несколько сухими. Тем не менее, книга оставляет приятное впечатление и вдохновляет на дальнейшее изучение баллад и их авторов.
