Book Roman antiquities
The book is the first Russian translation of the famous Roman antiquities by the Greek historian of the 1st century BC. e. Dionysius of Halicarnassus, who consistently sets out in books I-XI the prehistory and history of Ancient Rome from its foundation to the middle of the 5th century BC. e. Subsequent XII-XX books covering the events of the IV-III centuries BC. e., survived only in fragments. This work contains many interesting details of the ancient history of Rome, its laws, religion and customs. The book is intended for students of history and law universities, historians, lawyers, classical philologists, as well as for all those interested in Roman history.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.

Книга "Римські давнини" є справжнім скарбом для всіх, хто цікавиться історією Риму. Це перший російський переклад твору Діонісія Галікарнаського, який відкриває перед читачем захоплюючу картину давньоримського життя, його звичаїв, законів та релігії. Автор послідовно викладає події від заснування Риму до середини V століття до н. е., що дозволяє глибше зрозуміти етапи розвитку цієї великої цивілізації. Якість перекладу, хоча й має деякі недоліки, все ж вражає, адже завдяки сучасним технологіям читач може насолоджуватися оригінальним текстом, що робить цю книгу доступною для широкого кола читачів. Я б рекомендував цю книгу не лише студентам історичних та юридичних вузів, але й усім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про римську культуру та її вплив на сучасність.
