The authors' focus is on the use of medieval concepts for the formation of national identity, in national cultures and the ideology of nationalism. The publication is addressed to specialists, but will be useful for both students and anyone interested in history. Illustrations are available only in the paper version of the book. Вражаюче дослідження медієалізму у сучасному контексті

Книга "Мобілізоване Середньовіччя" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі історичних досліджень. Автори майстерно аналізують, як середньовічні символи та образи впливають на формування національної ідентичності в Центрально-Східній Європі та на Балканах. Я був вражений глибиною дослідження та різноманіттям прикладів, які охоплюють не лише літературу та мистецтво, а й політичні дискурси та сучасні технології, такі як комп'ютерні ігри. Книга не лише надає новий погляд на історичні процеси, але й спонукає до роздумів про те, як минуле впливає на наше сьогодення.
