Book The Saga of Eirik the Red
"The Saga of Eirik the Red" (Isl. Eiríks saga rauða) is an Icelandic saga about the Viking journeys to North America. The saga chronicles the events that led to the expulsion of Eirik the Red, how he discovered Greenland and founded a settlement there, as well as about the discovery of Vinland by the son of Eirik the Red, Leif Eiriksson, during a voyage when Leif's drakkar went off course. This saga is one of the Vinland sagas dedicated to the discovery of America long before Columbus.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
