Сестры Дюкот, Ан'гель и Дикси, вновь погружаются в мир расследований, и на этот раз их ждет не только жаркая атмосфера Луизианы, но и множество интриг. Сюжет закручивается вокруг свадьбы, которая, казалось бы, должна быть радостным событием, но оборачивается настоящей трагедией. Автор мастерски создает напряжение, заставляя читателя гадать, кто же на самом деле стоит за загадочной смертью невесты. Плюсы книги — это яркие персонажи, живописные описания южного колорита и умело построенный сюжет с неожиданными поворотами.
