
Book National Gallery of Australia
The National Gallery of Australia is located on three floors of a building designed in the Brutalist style. It displays works created by the indigenous population of Australia in different years, collections of European and American art of the 19th and 20th centuries; exhibits of Asian cultural traditions (Iran, Japan, Thailand and China) from the Neolithic era to the present; various photographs and decorative arts. A sculpture garden with an area of 2 hectares is located around the building. It is divided into zones dedicated to specific seasons. The exhibition gallery has rooms designed specifically for children. They contain various posters, paintings and installations designed to interest young viewers. Cover: D. Glover.
