The final book of my research, my fiction, my conclusions about the life of the outstanding “Red Finn” Toivo Antikainen. It doesn’t matter that now almost nothing is remembered about him - the time, alas, is when history is rewritten to please the tyrants. There will be another time - such is the law of nature. In my book, Toivo does not die in the prime of his life, as in the official version (by the way, there are two such versions); in my book, Antikainen remains a man whose ability to survive is worthy of respect, at least, if not admiration. As a writer, it was terribly interesting for me to work on the entire book, because events were revealed that could not help but happen. No historian can object, no matter how much he shakes false historical documents.
