Книга "Єзуїти. Історія духовного ордена Римської церкви" є надзвичайно детальним і об'єктивним дослідженням, яке охоплює майже п'ять століть історії Товариства Ісуса. Автор, Генріх Бемер, вміло розкриває всі важливі етапи розвитку ордена, від його заснування до сучасності, що дозволяє читачеві зрозуміти не лише історичний контекст, але й соціально-політичні обставини, в яких діяли єзуїти. Особливо вражає, як автор намагається збалансувати критику і захистити єзуїтів від несправедливих нападок, підкреслюючи їхній внесок у поширення освіти та культури в різних куточках світу.
