Don DeLillo (b. 1936) is an American writer and playwright, winner of a number of prestigious awards. He was awarded the PEN\Faulkner Award for his novel Mao II (1991). Ten years later, when the towers collapsed in New York, DeLillo was declared a prophet. This book is about an era when the future belongs to the crowds, and masterpieces are created using RDX. Its hero, a legendary American writer who lived as a hermit for many years, turns out to be a key figure in the game of Middle Eastern terrorists.
