Dear readers! We present to you a new book from the “Golden Series” library of the newspaper “Secrets of the 20th Century”. This issue is dedicated to a question that has recently worried most of humanity: the Apocalypse! What lies ahead for us? Or, let’s put it in other words: what will ultimately destroy us (or revive us) and when? Giant meteorite? Global warming? Or will we, sooner or later, bring ourselves to the grave with our irresponsible behavior? Or maybe it’s not so bad? Maybe meteorites will fly by, climate anomalies will return to normal, people will come to their senses and stop destroying their own home - the Earth? And 2012 will not be a fatal date for humanity, but a powerful evolutionary step into a new world or another “duck” like the “millennium”. Perhaps some articles in our book will contradict each other, some conclusions will clearly refute others. But we do not set ourselves the goal of convincing our readers of the validity of this or that opinion. Our goal is to introduce you to as many materials as possible that examine these issues from different perspectives.
