The external side of the activities of Dredan's traveling circus is no different from entertainment enterprises of this kind: moving from planet to planet, the circus gives performances to a troupe of exotic alien animals, receiving money for it. But circus activities are just a cover. Behind Dredan, the owner of the circus, is the all-powerful Thieves' Guild, and the real goal of the tour is to kidnap animals on other planets in order to use their telepathic abilities in their criminal scams. And so, fulfilling the next task of the Guild, Dredan ends up on the planet Arzor, where Hostin Storm and Tani settled with their team of animals.
