Луї Жаколі майстерно відтворює атмосферу піратського життя, занурюючи читача у світ небезпек, захоплень і романтики морських подорожей. Фабула, основана на достовірних фактах, робить цю історію ще більш захопливою, адже ви не лише насолоджуєтеся вигаданими пригодами, а й дізнаєтеся про реальні події, що відбувалися на морях. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має свої недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від читання. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто хоче відчути дух пригод і дізнатися більше про піратську культуру.
