Книга Андрія Кончаловського «Підвищуючий обман» — це не просто автобіографія, а справжній літературний витвір, який відкриває завісу над життям видатного режисера. Автор майстерно поєднує особисті спогади з професійними досягненнями, що робить текст надзвичайно живим і емоційним. Читач має можливість зануритися у світ, де зірки екрану та сцени стають частиною особистої історії автора, а його переживання, любові та творчі злети і падіння стають зрозумілими та близькими. Хоча переклад тексту іноді підносить сюрпризи у вигляді некоректних фраз, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Вона спонукає до роздумів про мистецтво, життя та пристрасті, які формують нас.
