Book Suvorov's foreign campaign
The book is dedicated to the events of 1799, when the great Russian commander A.B. Suvorov led the Italian and Swiss campaigns, defeating the troops of the French Emperor Napoleon I on the Adda and Trebbia rivers and in the Battle of Novi. Suvorov led Russian troops out of encirclement, crossing the Swiss Alps. It was in the war against France (1798–1799) that Suvorov’s military genius manifested itself with particular force. The publication is well illustrated.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
