The seventh volume of the collected works of R. Sabatini includes the novels “Bardelis the Magnificent” and “Scaramouche”. The first tells about the adventures of the favorite of Louis the Just, Bardelis the Magnificent, which lead him to the south of France, where there were continuous riots against the central government and the king, and his passionate feeling that knew no barriers for the beautiful Roxalina de Lavedan. The second novel is about a different era, about the years of preparation and the Great French Revolution itself at the end of the 18th century. Вражаюча подорож у світ історії та пригод!

Книга "Барделіс чудовий. Скарамуш" - це справжня перлина для всіх шанувальників історичної літератури. Р. Сабатіні зумів майстерно поєднати захоплюючий сюжет з реальними історичними подіями, що робить читання не лише цікавим, а й пізнавальним. Пригоди Барделіса Прекрасного, його пристрасне кохання до Роксалін де Лаведан, а також драматичні події, що відбуваються на фоні заколотів у Франції, створюють неймовірну атмосферу. Другий роман, "Скарамуш", переносить нас у часи Великої французької революції, де ми стаємо свідками боротьби за свободу та справедливість. Оформлення книги з ілюстраціями західноєвропейських художників додає особливого шарму. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути не зовсім точними, це не заважає загальному враженню від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну літературу з глибоким змістом і захоплюючими персонажами!
