Book Moon in the fog
This edition (for the first time since 1961!) reproduces the full text of the famous collection of fantasy short stories by Ueda Akinari (1734–1809) “Ugetsu Monogatari” (“Moon in the Fog”), created in 1768. The fascinating plot, the impeccable style of the author of the work, the prose part of which was brilliantly translated by Z. Rakhim and A. Strugatsky, and the poetic part by V. Markova, predetermine the perception of “Moon in the Fog” by a wide range of readers. A notable feature of this book is also (for the first time! ) reproduced engravings from the original 1776 edition.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
