A dense, but beautiful, completely self-sufficient novel. As in many other later novels, Moorcock transports Elric to other worlds. In these wanderings, he meets Gaynor the Accursed, helps the princesses of a people related to the Melnibonians to defend their world from Chaos and saves the soul of his father from serving Arioch. However, the best thing in the novel is not the plot, but the rich language, beautiful narrative style and many poems (it’s not for nothing that one of the heroes novel - the poet Ernest Weldrake, to whom Moorcock will attribute the epigraphic poems of subsequent novels). Overall, it turned out to be one of the best works of the Elric Saga.

Вражаюча подорож у світ Елріка!

"Помста Троянди" - це не просто роман, а справжня епопея, яка занурює читача в глибини фантастичних світів, наповнених магією, пригодами та драмою. Муркок знову демонструє свою майстерність у створенні складних персонажів та захоплюючих сюжетних ліній. Елрік, як завжди, залишається багатогранним героєм, який бореться не лише з ворогами, але й зі своїми внутрішніми демонами. Зустрічі з Гейнора Проклятим та принцесами мелібонійцями додають сюжету додаткової глибини та емоційності. Незважаючи на певні недоліки в перекладі, які можуть відволікати, загальна атмосфера та стиль письма Муркока залишають незабутнє враження. Цей роман варто прочитати всім шанувальникам фентезі та тих, хто цінує якісну літературу. Я з нетерпінням чекаю на наступні частини Саги про Елріка!
