Chroma is a reflection on the diversity of color by the famous British director and artist Derek Jarman (1942-1994). In this book, written in 1993, a year before his death, Jarman, losing his sight, uses all the resources of writing in an attempt to convey the complexity and an elusive aspect of a subject about which he has accumulated a lifetime of experience. Неперевершене дослідження кольору та емоцій

Книга "Хром" – це справжня подорож у світ кольорів, яку майстерно створив Дерек Джармен. Його ліричний стиль, поєднаний з глибокими роздумами про значення кольору в різних аспектах життя, робить цю книгу унікальною. Джармен не лише описує кольори, але й надає їм емоційного змісту, що дозволяє читачеві відчути їхню магію на власному досвіді. Його посилання на історію мистецтва, філософію та науку надає тексту глибини і контексту, що робить його цікавим не лише для художників, а й для всіх, хто цікавиться культурою та естетикою.
