Lyudmila Petrushevskaya’s new book “Sanatorium”, according to an already established tradition, consists of prose, plays and fairy tales - approximately according to the same principle by which she writes in her notebooks, alternating different genres, so to speak, as they arrive. The harsh realism characteristic of it gives way to humor (the author is a winner of the “Maly Zolotoy Ostap” prize) and what is called fantasy (L. Petrushevskaya is the only one in Russia awarded the World Science Fiction Prize). New for the author is a story in this genre, “Letter to the Heart.”

Вражаюча збірка, що поєднує різноманітні жанри!

Книга Людмили Петрушевської "Санаторіум" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор, як завжди, майстерно поєднує жорсткий реалізм з гумором та елементами фантастики, що робить читання захоплюючим і непередбачуваним. Збірка містить не лише прози, але й п'єси та казки, що дозволяє відчути різноманіття творчого підходу Петрушевської. Особливо вразила повість "Лист Серцю", яка, на мій погляд, є новим і цікавим напрямком у її творчості. Хоча переклад тексту за допомогою штучного інтелекту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Я б рекомендував "Санаторіум" усім, хто цінує літературу з глибоким змістом і незвичайними сюжетами. Це справжня перлина, яка залишає слід у душі!
