The anthology was compiled by the talented culturologist L.A. Mostova (02/3/1949–12/30/2000), who contributed to the development of cultural studies. Важливий внесок у культурологію

Антологія досліджень культури, складена Л.А. Мостовим, є справжнім скарбом для всіх, хто цікавиться культурологією та антропологією. Книга містить переклади оригінальних текстів видатних мислителів, які відкривають перед читачем глибину та багатогранність поняття культури. Автор вдало зібрав роботи, що охоплюють ключові проблеми, такі як типологія культури, її динаміка та методи інтерпретації. Це видання стане незамінним ресурсом для викладачів, аспірантів та студентів, адже воно не лише знайомить з основними концепціями, але й спонукає до глибшого осмислення культурних явищ. Хоча переклад тексту в цілому якісний, іноді зустрічаються незначні недоліки, пов'язані з технологією, але це не зменшує цінності книги.
