The owner of a well-known New York newspaper instructed his representative in Italy, Edd Dosson, to meet his daughter at the airport, who is flying to Rome to study at the local university, and also to provide her with any assistance if necessary. Edd meets a girl, helps her get settled, but since the boss’s daughter’s appearance doesn’t make much of an impression on him, he simply forgets about her existence. A few weeks after this, at one of the dinner parties, he is introduced to a charming beauty, who suddenly turns out to be the same boss’s daughter. After several friendly meetings that followed, Edd was invited to spend a joint holiday in a villa, away from the city.
