A young ambitious lawyer is on his way home after a successful trial. Deciding to take a shortcut, he turns off the highway onto a secondary road. After driving a few kilometers, the car suddenly hits a pothole on the asphalt, it drifts into a ditch, from which it can no longer get out... A cold night sets in. The engine stops working. He is left alone on a deserted unfamiliar road. It seems there is no escape. But he notices a light in a remote, lonely house behind a small forest. The lawyer goes to the house for help.
