Вражаюча та напружена історія

Ця остросюжетна повість Е. Макбейна дійсно вражає своєю глибиною та актуальністю. Події, що розгортаються протягом одного дня, настільки динамічні, що читач буквально не може відірватися від сторінок. Автор майстерно малює психологічний портрет злочинця, що робить його не просто антагоністом, а складною особистістю, яка викликає змішані почуття. Виникнення підліткових банд у міських кварталах, населених іммігрантами, стає актуальною темою, яка змушує задуматися про соціальні проблеми сучасності. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, загальна якість перекладу не заважає сприйняттю сюжету. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить напружені детективи з глибоким змістом і соціальними підтекстами. Вона залишає по собі відчуття тривоги та роздумів про справедливість у суспільстві
