Зворушлива історія кохання, яка залишає слід у серці

Ця книга - справжній шедевр, що переносить читача в епоху вікторіанської Англії, де кохання та моральні норми переплітаються в складний танець. Корделія, з її красою та незалежним характером, стає символом боротьби за власні почуття у світі, де жінки часто залишаються в тіні чоловіків. Автор майстерно описує її внутрішні переживання, виклики, з якими вона стикається, та сміливість, з якою вона відповідає на кохання Стівена Кросслі. Цей роман не лише про романтичні стосунки, а й про самовизначення, силу духу та здатність йти наперекір суспільним нормам.
