The heroes of “The Cripple of Inishmaan” live on a small abandoned Irish island, where everyone knows, loves and hates each other at the same time. Everyone curses their lot, everyone dreams of leaving, but not everyone understands how the realization of a dream can turn out. Crippled Billy, the smartest and at the same time the most unfortunate resident of the island, gets a chance to change his life. It is he, who lives in the care of two strange aunts and dreams of finding out the secret of his birth, who will go to the Dream Factory following the Hollywood directors who have started shooting a film about Irish fishermen.
