Book How do you like it
The comedy was first published "in folio" in 1623. In all likelihood, it was composed at the turn of the century, around 1599 or 1600. Shakespeare borrowed the plot of this play from a pastoral novel by his contemporary, actor and playwright Thomas Rosalind Lodge. The source of such a plot in English literature can be considered English folk tales about Hamelin.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
