God makes it clear in His Word that He has only one answer to all human needs - His Son Jesus Christ. In relation to the Christian life, this truth is expressed by the Apostle Paul in the words: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me” (Gal. 2:20). And as Watchman Nee shows, this is the standard that God has set for all Christians. To arrive at such a normal Christian life, it is necessary to receive and apply the revelation from God's Word concerning the person and work of Christ, which is clearly presented by Watchman Nee in many aspects. On the cross Christ died in our place so that we might receive the forgiveness of sins, and now He lives in His believers in the resurrection to fulfill God's great purpose that goes far beyond the forgiveness of sins. The ultimate goal of this design is to make sinners many sons of God, forming the one Body of Christ - the church, and ultimately lead them to glory. Based on the study of a number of important passages of the Bible, Watchman Nee reveals to believers this path to a normal Christian life, which they in their experiences go through several stages - realizing their death with Christ, presenting themselves to God, learning to walk in the Spirit and bear the cross in order to gain the fullness of life in Christ and be pleasing to the Lord in serving Him.
