Dmitry Bavilsky's book, dedicated to travel, is made up of essays and stories written in the 21st century. The first section of the collection includes “travel texts”, where at first glance nothing happens. But St. Petersburg, Tel Aviv, Alma-Ata, and Burgundy turn out to be a framework for living both the happiest and the most ordinary days of one, separate life. The second cycle of the collection is dedicated to trips to the strange and at the same time ordinary Ural city of Cherdachinsk, where the author grew up and from which he once left. In the third part of the book, D. Bavilsky “reveals the technique”, describing travelogues of different eras and traditions (from N. Karamzin and I.-W. Goethe to E. Giber and A. Неперевершена подорож у світ думок і емоцій!

Книга Дмитра Бавільського "Неможливість подорожей" - це справжня перлина для всіх, хто цінує літературу, що спонукає до роздумів. Автор майстерно поєднує особисті враження від подорожей з глибокими філософськими роздумами про життя, щастя та повсякденність. Читачі отримують можливість зануритися в атмосферу Санкт-Петербурга, Тель-Авіву та інших міст, відчуваючи на собі їхню енергетику та красу. Особливо вразила друга частина книги, де автор повертається до свого рідного міста Чердачинськ, описуючи його звичайність та красу, що робить його ще більш близьким і зрозумілим. Третій цикл, присвячений травелогам різних епох, відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння подорожей як інтелектуальної пригоди. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, ця книга залишає по собі глибокий слід і спонукає до нових відкриттів. Рекомендую всім, хто любить літературу, що надихає!
