Book Arab poets and folk poetry
The monograph, based on extensive material from Arabic classical, modern literary and folk poetry, examines stable lexical units of love and landscape lyrics. The characteristic features of the poetic vocabulary and means of expression are analyzed. A special lexicon is provided, containing words and expressions often used by poets. An analysis of the creativity of individual poets and works of folk poetry is given. For orientalists and philologists, as well as for everyone who is interested in oriental poetry.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
