“Love” is the second book in the six-volume autobiographical cycle “My Struggle,” a classic of modern Norwegian literature. Karl Ove leaves his wife and moves from Norway to Sweden, where he meets Linda. With endless tenderness and sometimes shocking frankness, he talks about their passionate romance with countless quarrels and reconciliations. Soon their eldest daughter is born, followed by another daughter and son. The exhausting everyday life of the father of three children begins. Many things irritate the hero: the arrogance of his fellow writers, and conformism as the norm of life in a country that is foreign to him. However, this is where inspiration returns to him. It is not without difficulty that he breaks away from the family routine, at least for a couple of hours a day, and devotes himself to creativity - his main struggle.

Вражаюча та відверта історія про кохання і батьківство

Книга "Кохання" є справжнім шедевром, який проникає в саме серце. Карл Уве з неймовірною щирістю та відвертістю розповідає про свій роман з Ліндою, показуючи всі нюанси стосунків — від пристрасті до сварок. Його переживання як батька трьох дітей, які намагаються знайти баланс між сімейним життям і творчістю, дуже близькі багатьом читачам. Автор майстерно передає емоції, змушуючи читача відчути всі радощі та труднощі, з якими стикається головний герой. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, безумовно, можуть відволікати, це не зменшує загальної цінності книги. "Кохання" — це не просто історія про романтичні стосунки, а глибоке дослідження людських почуттів, пошуку себе та натхнення в повсякденному житті. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує глибокі та емоційні твори!
