The early work of Alain Robbe-Grillet (born in 1922) overturned the usual ideas about the genre of the novel and marked the beginning of the “new novel” - one of the most revolutionary phenomena in world literature of the 20th century. Robbe-Grillet likes to play on reader stereotypes , parodying classic genre standards. In “Jealousy,” the author diligently exploits the traditional scheme of adultery, but not everything is as simple as it might seem... Moreover, the French title of the novel “La Jalousie” has a double meaning: on the one hand, “jealousy,” and on the other, “blinds,” a curtain through which it is very convenient to peek while remaining invisible...

Ревность как зеркало человеческих страстей

Книга "Ревность" Алена Роб-Грийе — это не просто роман о предательстве и страсти, а глубокое исследование человеческой психологии и восприятия реальности. Автор мастерски использует традиционную схему адюльтера, но при этом играет с читательскими ожиданиями, заставляя задуматься о том, что скрывается за привычными сюжетными штампами. Интересно, как двойное значение названия — "ревность" и "жалюзи" — создает многослойность текста, позволяя читателю заглянуть в мир персонажей, оставаясь при этом на безопасном расстоянии. Роб-Грийе виртуозно описывает детали, создавая атмосферу напряжения и неопределенности. Однако, несмотря на все плюсы, некоторые моменты могут показаться затянутыми, и не каждый читатель сможет оценить такой стиль. Тем не менее, для любителей экспериментальной прозы "Ревность" станет настоящим открытием.
