All her life she was raised by guardians, each of whom was destined for one fate - death. One day, having upset the balance between the world of the living and the dead, Signa goes to the only remaining relatives, the Hawthornes, in the Thorn Grove estate, inhabited by spirits. There the girl learns that someone is poisoning all family members with a special poison. Plunging into the dark secrets of the Hawthorne family, Signa realizes that each of them falls under suspicion. To restore balance, the girl needs to make sure that death cannot reach any of the inhabitants of Thorn Grove. Signa soon learns that she must make a deal with Death himself, a charming and dangerous young man.

Чарівна та загадкова історія про життя та смерть

"Беладонна" - це неймовірно захоплююча книга, яка занурює читача в атмосферу Англії XIX століття, де смерть і таємниці переплітаються в одне ціле. Сігна, головна героїня, є не лише жертвою обставин, але й справжньою борцем за життя своїх родичів. Автор майстерно створює напружену атмосферу, де кожен персонаж має свої таємниці, а читач постійно перебуває в стані очікування розкриття загадок. Стиль написання вражає своєю поетичністю та емоційністю, а сюжет тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вражає образ Смерті, який представлений не лише як безжальний персонаж, а й як складна особистість, що викликає симпатію. Книга спонукає до роздумів про життя, смерть та вибір, який ми робимо, щоб захистити тих, кого любимо. Рекомендую всім, хто любить готичні романи з елементами містики та романтики!
