The second volume includes the following works: “Knulp”, “Resort Man”, “Steppen Wolf”. The story “Knulp” was written by G. Hesse in 1907–1913. It reveals the theme of vagrancy, which in the 80s and 90s. last century was a common occurrence in Germany. In this story, Hermann Hesse gave a romantic image of a tramp. The story “Resortnik” (1925) is the fruit of the writer’s thoughts about his own life, about the forms and ways of overcoming the conflict between Spirit and nature, the individual and the collective. The novel “Steppenwolf” is one of Hesse's most popular works. It is to a certain extent autobiographical. This is the confession of a bourgeois intellectual trying to overcome his own illness.

Глибока та емоційна подорож у світ бродяжництва

Другий том творів Германа Гессе - це справжнє відкриття для всіх, хто цінує літературу, що викликає глибокі роздуми. У творах «Кнульп», «Курортник» та «Степовий вовк» автор майстерно розкриває тему бродяжництва, показуючи його не лише як соціальне явище, але й як глибокий психологічний стан. Гессе створює романтичний образ бродяги, який, незважаючи на всі труднощі, прагне знайти своє місце у світі. Ця книга є певною мірою автобіографічною, що надає їй особливої глибини та щирості. Читач відчуває, як інтелігент, що бореться з власними демонами, намагається знайти сенс у своєму житті. Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можна натрапити на незначні недоліки, загалом, якість перекладу залишається на високому рівні.
