Book Montezuma's Revenge
Tony Haffkin, an Apache Indian and manager of the book and print store at the National Gallery in Washington, was recruited by the FBI as an art expert. A priceless DaVinci painting thought to have been lost during the war has resurfaced in Mexico City. Haffkin must go there, determine whether the painting is genuine and try to take possession of it. The death of his Mexican contact leads Tony into increasingly bizarre adventures with Israeli, Italian, German and American agencies who want to acquire the painting.
The book’s text has been translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence system. In most cases, the translation is accurate and clear, but occasionally there may be incorrect phrasing or individual words left untranslated.
