From a galley slave, thanks to his will, toughness and ingenuity, he turned into the ruler of Algeria. Overthrown as a result of the fight against the Spaniards, he, despite his resourcefulness, was killed. His work was continued by his brother Hayraddin, who also adopted the nickname Barbarossa.

These sea robbers, the Barbarossa brothers, appear on the pages of the novel of the same name by the talented Moscow prose writer Mikhail Popov.

Неймовірна історія про піратську славу і відвагу!

Книга "Барбаросса" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі історичної прози. Михайло Попов вдало поєднав реальні історичні факти з захоплюючими пригодами, що робить роман не лише пізнавальним, але й неймовірно цікавим. Доля Харуджа Червонобородого, його перетворення з раба-галерника на володаря Алжиру, наповнена драмою та емоціями, які захоплюють з перших сторінок. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу Середземномор'я, його небезпек та романтики, а також показує, як жорстокість і винахідливість можуть змінити долю людини. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить пригоди, історію та сильних персонажів!
