The story VIPER tells about a very young girl - the merchant's daughter Olga Zotova, who stepped into the fire of the Civil War and went through many cruel trials. She became a real brave fighter of the Red Army, but the war ended, and the most serious test for her was peaceful life, in which she did not find her place... The film of the same name was shot in 1965 by director Viktor Ivchenko, starring: Ninel Myshkova, Boris Zaidenberg , Raisa Nedashkovskaya.

Книга "Гадюка" Олексія Миколайовича Толстого - це справжній шедевр, який переносить читача у вир подій Громадянської війни та післявоєнного часу. Повість розповідає про неймовірну долю молодої дівчини Ольги Зотової, яка, незважаючи на свою юність, стає героїнею, борючись за свої ідеали та свободу. Автор майстерно передає емоції та переживання героїні, її боротьбу не лише на полі бою, але й у мирному житті, де вона намагається знайти своє місце у світі, що змінився. Хоча текст книги перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у фразах, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною та силою сюжету. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує літературу, що піднімає важливі питання про людську гідність та сміливість у часи змін.
