Книга "Історія спіритизму" відкриває перед читачем абсолютно новий аспект життя та творчості знаменитого автора Шерлока Холмса, Артура Конан Дойля. Його захоплення спіритизмом, яке тривало майже півстоліття, вражає своєю глибиною і серйозністю. Дойль не лише досліджує спіритичний рух, але й намагається розв'язати складні питання життя і смерті, що робить цю книгу надзвичайно актуальною навіть сьогодні. Читання цієї монографії — це не лише подорож у світ окультизму, але й можливість замислитися над філософськими та релігійними питаннями, які хвилюють людство з давніх-давен.
