Former GRU instructor Illarion Zabrodov is approached by his neighbor in the stairwell, old man Granovsky, with a request to hide a very valuable folder for him, which was left behind by his son who died in a plane crash. So Zabrodov suddenly finds himself at the center of a complicated story, the roots of which go back to the beginning of the two thousandth, when the owner of the Silver Wings airline, Edward Parshin, just began supplying weapons to the countries of the Middle East. Having established cooperation with weapons suppliers from the USA and Germany, Parshin is persistently trying to find Granovsky’s folder.
